Develop your ability to impart the skills of safe kayaking to others and work towards instructor certification under Paddle Canada’s National Program. This course focuses exclusively on teaching skills and techniques. Lectures will focus on: adult learning principles, class organization, stroke progression and programming. This is not a skill development course. Time will be spent fine tuning strokes, but students are expected to arrive with "demonstration quality" strokes and a working knowledge of sea kayaking theory.

Certification available: Level 1 Instructor.

Prerequisites: Paddle Canada Level 2 skill.
Includes: NKC Instructor Course manual and program manual. Excludes kayak, personal equipment and Paddle Canada Instructor course fee (payable directly to Paddle Canada).
